Welcome to the Underground Writings!

Welcome to the Underground Writings, on this blog platform I plan to post writings of what the Lord impresses on my heart to share with others. I hope to dive into the text and share the application with real life. We are all struggling and trying to find "the Way" to follow Christ and adopt his teachings and wisdom into our everyday life. The journey is not easy and the understanding and application of the scriptures even harder. For even Jesus spoke in parables to all his people. I believe because he wanted us to search Him out. In the searching, in the wrestling, in the learning we find who He is and His message rings out all the clearer. Lord give us true spiritual eyes to see and true ears to hear. So that we might see with our eyes and hear with our ears and turn and You will save us!

For the war of our generation is a war of complacency! We are the generation that has almost everything at our fingertips. There is always MORE dangling in front of us, with the image of social media perfect lives all around us, temptation in every direction we look. We are surrounded by comforts and food and being idolized has become the goal. Scientific theory is fact and the world looks at the bible as ancient stories and myth. In our view, there is no great battle to fight, no great moral to follow, heaven and hell seem almost nonexisistent. Those were stories for an older time, stories for a lesser intelligent being, as the world seems to be getting crazier and crazier on what is accepted as normal.

Yet, the war between angels and demons wages on all around us. Hidden from our sight, the battle for our souls is taking place. In an attempt to slowly wear us down spiritually and steal the very love you were created to give from you and replace it with anger and jealousy and hate. As our eyes are focused on materialistic things and always having something more. As God's chosen people lost and confused descend into deeper depravities. Slowly wasting our lives and our time to do what we were called to do.

However, I know a secret! There is a kingdom that has been forcefully advancing since Jesus Christ, and forceful people lay hold of it! A great light has come and now maybe more then ever is the time for God's people to arise by coming together on their knees in prayer and learning and compassion and love. You are chosen! You have been called! You are the church! You are the Underground! And Christ is coming for His Church!
